Recipe: Green Wraps

This amazing meal was cooked for me by a friend and it has become a staple in our house. It's quick, easy and pretty cheap and is really delicious.

Ingredients (makes 4, serves 2-4)

4 plain or chilli wraps

1 tub of houmous

A block of tofu or 2 chicken breasts, cubes, marinated in spices of choice (I use cajun)

A tub of mushrooms, sliced

A pack of mange tout

A pack of baby sweetcorn, sliced longways

4 handfuls of spring greens, sliced into 1 inch strips

A pack of asparagus

2 courgettes

Tsp chilli flakes

Chilli sauce of choice


1. Cube the tofu or chicken, marinate in spices of choice and bake in oven until browned.


2. Prep the veg and stir fry in a little oil, add chilli flakes.


3. Take wraps out of packaging and place in oven for a few minutes


4. Take first wrap, put a large teaspoon of houmous in the middle and smear in a line. Top with veg, chicken/tofu ad chilli sauce of choice. Fold bottom over then sides in and enjoy!
